GENESIS 39-41

 EVER HEAR THE EXPRESSION "HE LOST HIS SHIRT"?  WELL THAT WAS ALMOST THE CASE WITH JOSEPH, EXCEPT HE LOST HIS COAT. HE WAS THE SON JACOB AND HIS FAVORED WIFE, RACHAEL.  JACOB LOVED JOSEPH MORE THAN ALL HIS OTHER SONS AND GAVE HIM A COAT OF MANY COLORS.  BECAUSE OF THIS FAVORITISM, IT MADE HIS BROTHERS JEALOUS.  THEN JOSEPH HAD TWO DREAMS INDICATING THAT HIS BROTHERS WOULD BOW DOWN TO HIM AND IT MADE HIS BROTHERS WANT TO KILL HIM. 

ONE DAY WHILE THEY WERE AWAY FROM HOME THE BAD BROTHERS THREW JOSEPH INTO AN EMPTY WELL AFTER TEARING OFF HIS COAT HIS FATHER HAD GIVEN HIM THEN BROUGHT HIS COAT HOME TO THEIR FATHER TELLING HIM A BEAST HAD KILLED JOSEPH.  THEIR FATHER WAS HEARTBROKEN.  BUT, JOSEPH HAD NOT BEEN KILLED BUT HIS BROTHERS SOLD HIM INTO SLAVERY TO SOME MERCHANTS PASSING BY... WHO THEN TOOK HIM TO EGYPT AND WAS SOLD TO A MAN NAMED POTIPHAR. 

JOSEPH FOUND HIMSELF TO BE A SLAVE IN EGYPT, BUT HE EARNED THE TRUST OF POTIPHER A MAN OF WEALTH AND HE WORKED HARD AND WAS PUT IN CHARGE OF POTIPHARS WHOLE HOUSEHOLD.  BUT POTIPHARS WIFE WAS NOT A GOOD WOMAN, AND ONE DAY SHE ACCUSED JOSEPH OF BETRAYING HER HUSBAND.  ALTHOUGH HER WORDS WERE FALSE, JOSEPH WAS THROWN IN PRISON.  BUT EVEN IN PRISON, JOSEPH OBEYED GOD, AND I AM SURE THIS TIME IN A DARK PRISON GAVE JOSEPH TIME TO THINK ABOUT HOW HE COULD HAVE HANDLED HIS BROTHERS IN A MORE HUMBLE WAY.  IN PRISON EVEN INTERPETED SOME DREAMS AND ONLY ASKED THAT HE BE REMEMBERED.  I AM SURE AGAIN HE WONDERED WHEN GOD WOULD EVER RELEASE HIM FROM HIS CAPTIVITY.  AFTER A WHILE HE WAS RELEASED TO HELP PHARAOH, THE LEADER OF ALL EGYPT.

"JOSEPH, I'VE HEARD YOU ARE ABLE TO EXPLAIN DREAMS," SAID PHARAOH. 
'ONLY WITH GOD'S HELP", REPLIED JOSEPH,

IN THE DREAM PHAROAHPHAROAH WAS TO CHOOSE A WISE MAN WHO WOULD STORE FOOD IN THE YEARS OF PLENTY TO BE USED DURING FAMINE.  AND PHAROAH APPOINTED JOSEPH GOVERNOR OF THE LAND OF EGYPT.  A VERY HIGH POSITION.

FAST FORWARD DECADES. JOSEPH IS RUNNING EGYPT, WHICH BECAUSE OF HIS "INSIDER INFORMATION WITH GOD, IS THE ONLY LAND THAT HAS FOOD DURING THE FAMINE,.  THROUGH A SERIES OF EVENTS JOSEPH IS ABLE TO HELP HIS BROTHERS AND FAMILY AND REUNITED WITH HIS FATHER WHO IS SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM ALIVE BEFORE HIS DEATH.  JOSEPH COMES TO A PLACE OF FORGIVENESS TOWARDS HIS BROTHERS AFTER TRYING TO GET EVEN WITH THEM AND IS ABLE TO BE A HERO FOR THE LORD.

HERE IS THE WORD I RECEIVED A TIME AGO,
BUT I BELIEVE IT IS EVEN MORE PERTINENT FOR TODAY...

I RESIST THE PROUD, BUT GIVE GRACE TO THE HUMBLE…  PRIDE COMES BEFORE THE FALL…. BELOVED, DON’T OPEN THE DOOR FOR THE ENEMY TO COME IN AS JOSEPH DID WALKING IN PRIDE, IMMATURE ATTITUDE AND BOASTFUL MANNERISMS.… BOASTING IN YOUR HEART OF THE COAT OF MANY COLORS  BESTOWED UPON YOU …FOCUSING ON  ( THE GIFTINGS AND ABILITIES AND PROMISES) PLACED AS A MANTLE UPON YOUR LIFE WILL ONLY SET YOU UP FOR A PIT  EXPERIENCE. 

"MY DESIRE IS  FOR YOU TO LEARN AND GROW IN MY WAYS", SAITH THE LORD.   JOSEPH COULD HAVE AVOIDED MANY A PITFALL HAD HE SERVED HIS BROTHERS INSTEAD OF SAYING TO HIS BROTHERS… “I’M CALLED, AND I’M SPECIAL …. FATHER REALLY HAS HIS HAND ON ME”.  SEE MY COAT OF MANY COLORS..  YOU MY BROTHERS WILL ONE DAY BOW DOWN TO ME.

FOR, THE LORD IS  RAISING YOU UP HIS JOSEPH'S IN INTEGRITY TO MAKE WISE CHOICES, REFLECTING  GODLY CHARACTER. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER DESIRES FOR US TO TRUST HIM AT ALL TIMES, KNOWINING THAT OUR  DESIRE AND DELIGHT IS TOWARDS GOD FIRST AND FOREMOST IN YOUR LIFE.   YOUR FAITHFULNESS WILL BE REWARDED WITH BLESSINGS GREATER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE…

YOUR PROMOTION WILL COME FROM A SPIRIT OF DILIGENCE, AND HAVING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, BY TAKING SMALL TASKS AND PUTTING YOUR HEART INTO THEM, AND BEING CONTENT TO SERVE IN SUBMISSION, DOING YOUR BEST, WITH ALL DILIGANCE, AND DESIRING A SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE IN ALL YOUR ENDEAVORS….   JOSEPH WOULD NOT HAVE RECEIVED THE FAVOR IF HE WERE SLOTHFUL, APATHETIC OR LAZY… NO, HE WORKED DILIGENTLY NO MATTER WHERE GOD PLACED HIM, BECAUSE HE WORKED TO PLEASE THE LORD.  AS YOU VIEW EVEN THE MEANIAL TASKS AS IMPORTANT,  WHEN YOU VIEW NOTHING “AS BENEATH YOU” …. GOD WILL RAISE YOU UP.

FATHER GOD SAYS: "BE NOT IN A RUSH, BUT BE MORE EAGER TO BE FAITHFUL THROUGH THE TESTINGS OF TIME…..MY DESIRE FOR YOU IS A  DETERMINING IN YOUR HEART NOT TO SUCCUMB TO THE PULL OF THE WORLD.  I WILL THEN REVERSE THE OVERWHELMING ODDS AGAINST YOU….FOR YOU MUST BE PROVEN TRUSTWORTHY TO WALK THE WAY OF HOLINESS IN THE MIDST OF STRUGGLES, BEFORE I CAN USE YOU IN THE WAYS I HAVE PLANNED." 

SEARCH YOUR HEART FOR PRIORITIES.    WHAT IS YOUR PRIORITY?  WHAT ARE YOUR MOTIVATIONS?…ARE YOUR PLANS AND INTENTS HONORABLE AND PURE IN ALL AREAS.. (IE…FINANCES, MORALS, MINISTRY, WORK)  WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST DESIRE…THE LORD YEARNS FOR YOU TO NOT LOSE YOUR FIRST LOVE AND THAT YOUR DESIRE BE FOR HIM BEFORE ALL THINGS.. …. WHETHER YOUR PRISON IS CIRCUMSTANCES OR PRISONS OF YOUR OWN MAKING.. THERE IS STILL HEALING AND DELIVERANCE .. CRY OUT TO GOD AND HE WILL LIFT YOU OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY.

REMEMBER, IT TOOK 20 YEARS TO PREPARE JOSEPH FOR REIGNING… KNOW THAT MY WAYS ARE NOT YOUR WAYS AND MY TIMING IS NOT YOUR TIMING. IT WILL BE TEMPTING TO GROW WEARY, LEAN ON MY IN THE DARKNESS AND THE MIDST OF YOUR PRISON EXPERIENCE.  YOUR TRAINING INVOLVES LEARNING THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVING.  YOU WILL BE BROUGHT SUDDENLY FROM PRISON TO PALACE…AS YOU SERVE ME HUMBLY AND MEEKLY, AND I WILL RENEW YOUR STRENGTH…DON’T BE LOOKING FOR POSITION, BUT POSITION YOURSELF AS A SERVANT SO I MAY LIFT YOU UP.  REMEMBER, PROMOTION COMES FROM ME!!

 

AS YOUR HEART RELEASES THE AREAS OF PRIDE,  WHERE YOU CONTINUE TO PROVE YOURSELF AND PROVE YOUR (SPIRITUALITY) AND CALLING..I WILL GIVE UNTO YOU TRUE DISCERNMENT OF THOSE WHO ARE IN THE KING’S SERVICE (MY SERVICE), AND THOSE WHO CONSPIRE AGAINST ME…  WHEN THERE ARE DISPUTES, YOU WILL COME TO ME AND RECEIVE DIVINE WISDOM … YOUR WORDS WILL BE FILLED WITH UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE.  SUPERNATURAL  GIFTS WILL FLOW.

WHILE OTHERS WILL TRY TO REVEAL SPIRITUAL MYSTERIES TO BRING ATTENTION AND GLORY TO THEMSELVES TO GAIN POSITION, I WILL GIVE UNTO YOU TRUE INTERPRETATION. YOU WILL NO LONGER MINISTER OUT OF YOUR OWN FLESH, AND YOU WILL NOT BE DECEIVED BY YOUR OWN FLESHLY DESIRES OR PURPOSES.  YOU WILL ONLY SPEAK WHAT I SAY AND ONLY DO WHAT I SHOW YOU… YOU WILL BE CONSUMED IN MY LOVE AND YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS WILL BE DONE IN LOVE AND WILL CARRY GREAT POWER.

YOU WILL BEGIN TO MOVE IN NEW REALMS OF INSIGHT AND REVELATION OF MY WORD… SIGNS WONDERS AND GIFTS OF MY SPIRIT.. … FOR YOUR FOCUS WILL  BE FOR KINGDOM PURPOSES…. BUT FIRST, TURN ASIDE FROM FLESHLY AREAS,  AND BE SATISFIED WITH “MY PORTION” WHICH OFTEN SEEMS MEAGER AND UNSATIFSYING TO YOUR PALATE.  “MY PORTION”, HOWEVER, BRINGS LIFE IN ABUNDANCE, STRENGTH AND WISDOM.  ….  FOR I AM CALLING MY JOSEPH’S TO FLEE FROM THAT WHICH THE WORLD DANGLES IN FRONT OF THEM AS A TRAP.  AS YOU FLEE ALL THAT THE ENEMY WOULD SET UP AS TEMPTATION AND ENTRAPMENT.. TRADE THE COAT OF MANY COLORS THAT MAN HAS FASHIONED FOR THE CLOAK OF TRUE SONSHIP THAT I HAVE CREATED FOR YOU.

 

“I AM CALLING MY JOSEPH COMPANY TO BE STEADFAST IN FLEEING YOUTHFUL LUSTS, TURNING ASIDE FROM ALL FORMS OF INTICEMENT, WHEN UNDER PRESSURE, AND BEING RESOLVED IN SPRIRIT  TO PLEASE THE KING BEFORE PLEASING THEMSELVES…. “IT WOULD BE A GREAT SIN AGAINST GOD” (Gen. 39:9) AND REALIZING SEXUAL SIN IS AN ACT OF DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD… REALIZING MANY TIMES AVOIDING TEMPTATION IS NOT ENOUGH.  RUNNING FROM IT, AND REFUSING THE ADVANCES OF SEDUCTION, ARE SOMETIMES THE ONLY WAY OF ESCAPING THE ENEMIES PLANS.  FOR THERE WILL BE NO MIXTURE IN MY JOSEPH COMPANY.  THEY WILL BE SOLD OUT FOR ME.

YOU FEEL AS THOUGH YOU HAVE BEEN PASSED BY AND OVERLOOKED, AND FORGOTTEN IN A PRISON OF DISPAIR, EMPTINESS, AND NOTHINGNESS,  THERE HAVE BEEN THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN UNGRATEFUL FOR YOUR EFFORTS.  DON’T BE SURPRISED AT THIS.  AS YOUR FOCUS TURNS TO ME (THE KING AND THE KING ALONE)… I WILL TURN YOUR CAPTIVITY AROUND. 

WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN TRIED THROUGH THE FIRES OF AFFLICTION… YOUR SITUATIONS WILL BE TURNED AROUND…  RELEASE ALL BITTERNESS, RESENTMENT, UNFORGIVENESS AND ANGER TO ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU FAVOR DURING PRISON TIMES, AND YOU WILL RISE QUICKLY TO THE TOP FROM PRISON WALLS TO PALACE.  YOU WILL REALIZE MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT EVEN IN TIMES WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR LOWEST AND FEEL YOU HAVE HOPED AGAINST HOPE. 

AS YOU ARE TRIED IN THESE AREAS… IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITIES WILL COME WITHOUT WARNING, WHEN YOU WOULD SEEMINGLY BELIEVE YOU HAVE HAD NO TIME TO PREPARE, BUT, YOU WILL BE READY BECAUSE YOU WILL BE IN RIGHT RELATIONSHIP AND RIGHT ORDER.  YOU WILL TEACH THE BODY OF CHRIST ABOUT

“MY SURVIVAL PLAN IN FAMINE”  YOU WILL PARTAKE OF A FEAST IN THE MIDST OF FAMINE..

THE PREPARING FOR FAMINE IS DRAWING NEAR TO ME, SO I MAY PLANT SEEDS THAT WILL BRING FORTH A HARVEST OF PLENTY IN DAYS OF LACK.  LABORING TO ENTER INTO MY REST WILL PRODUCE THE ANOINTING UPON YOUR LIFE.  BEING ASLEEP AND LETHARGIC AT THIS TIME IS NOT AN OPTION. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU, IF YOU WILL BUT COME TO ME.  THE PLANNING IS DONE IN PRAYER AND TIME ALONE PREPARING THE STOREHOUSE OF YOUR HEART FOR TIMES OF LACK. SPENDING TIME WITH ME IS WHERE YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SUSTENANCE AND I WILL FILL YOUR STOREHOUSE WITH PLENTY.. FILL YOUR LAMPS WITH MY SPIRITUAL FOOD TO HAVE AS A TREASURE AND TO HAVE IN ABUNDANCE TO SHARE. THE MORE YOU SEEK ME, THE MORE I WILL FILL YOU.. YOUR LAMPS WILL BE FILLED AND LIT AND NOT LEFT WANTING.   YOU MAY BE STARVING IN A PRISON RIGHT NOW, BUT REMEMBER IT IS ONLY PREPARATION FOR THE GREATER.  JUST REMEMBER IT TAKES TIME FOR CROPS TO PRODUCE.  THE SEED IS PLANTED IN A DARK PLACE AND SEEMS TO BE ALL BUT DEAD, BUT A MIRACLE TAKES PLACE AND BEFORE LONG YOU WILL SEE IT BEING FREED FROM THE DARK GROUND AND IT WILL IMMERGE AND BRING FORTH FRUIT.!

I DESIRE FOR MY BELOVED TO BE AWAKE AND NOT ASLEEP IN THESE COMING DAYS. IT IS NOT A TIME FOR SLUMBER. .. FAMINE IS COMING AND IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO SEEK ME FOR DISCERNMENT AND WAYS FOR OPEN OPPORTUNITIES TO SPEAK MY WORD .. TO SHARE THE TRUTH .. TO FEED MY LAMBS, MY SHEEP.  YOU WILL FIND THE STARVING AND HUNGRY ALONG THE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS.  INQUIRE OF ME AS TO HOW TO REACH OUT TO THEM.   

I DESIRE TO HEAL THE ANGUISH OF YOUR YOUTHFUL FAILURES AND FOLLIES AND TO MAKE YOU A FRUITFUL LAND… YOU WILL REMAIN SILENT IN TIMES WHEN YOU COULD SAY “I TOLD YOU SO”. YOU WILL NO LONGER TRY TO JUSTIFY YOURSELF.  YOU WILL NO LONGER REHEARSE OVER AND OVER THE ACCOUNTS OF PAST AREAS OF REJECTION AND WOUNDINGS.. AND ALLOW THE ENEMY TO CAUSE YOU TO BELIEVE YOU ARE SIMPLY THE INNOCENT BYSTANDER .  YOU WILL SEE, RECOGNIZE, ADMIT YOUR PART AND REPENT WITH NO DEFENSE OR EXCUSES  ….AND I WILL TURN THE TABLES ON THE ENEMY FOR YOU.

JUST AS JOSEPH WAS SENT AHEAD TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR HIS FAMILY AND OTHERS, SO SEND I YOU.. WHAT THE ENEMY MEANT FOR EVIL IN YOUR  LIFE WILL BE TURNED FOR GOOD IF YOU WILL ALLOW ME TO BREAK THE AREAS OF PRIDE AND RESISTANCE IN YOUR LIFE.  THE ISOLATION AND LONLINESS YOU HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING HAS BEEN A TRYING TIME TO UPROOT ANY AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN IDOLS IN YOUR LIFE, ANY AREAS THAT YOU HAVE PLACE BEFORE ME… I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION.  BUT, IF YOU WILL YIELD TO ME, I WILL PLACE YOU IN AUTHORITY. 

THE JOSEPH COMPANY I AM NOW RAISING UP …MY LAST DAY REMNANT, ARE A PEOPLE WHO WILL REVEAL TO MY PEOPLE WAYS OF BREAKING OUT  OF “SPIRITUAL FAMINE”.  FOR IT CAN BE COLD AND DESOLATE WITH STARVATION IN PRISON.

MY JOSEPHS HAVE GONE THROUGH THE TESTINGS, THE PRISONS, AND FIRES, AND HAVE REMAINED FAITHFUL TO ME, EVEN IN TIMES WHEN THEY FELT THEY FAILED AND HAD BEEN ABANDONED AND FORGOTTEN BY ME.  BUT, I DESIRE TO TAKE YOU FROM PRISON TO PRAISE!!

RECEIVE MY FAVOR, AND MY COAT OF MANY COLORS WHICH WILL BE EVIDENT TO MANY.  A GARMENT  NOT MADE BY HANDS, BUT MADE WITH THE MANY COLORS AND FACETS OF MY LOVE  DEMONSTRATED IN KINDNESS AND GRACE DURING YOUR PRISON TIME ….MY JOSEPH COMPANY IS A SET APART PEOPLE.  DON’T BE SURPRISED THAT THERE WILL BE THOSE WHO WILL ENVY AND TRY TO DESTROY THAT WHICH I HAVE PLACED UPON YOUR LIFE.

I WILL GIVE UNTO YOU THE KEY TO MY STOREHOUSE IN THE NATURAL AND IN THE SPIRITUAL TO FEED MY PEOPLE  IN FAMINE.

FOR, I HAVE CALLED YOU TO KEEP YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER… YOUR SPIRITUAL AND NATURAL HOUSE… AN ADMINISTRATOR WHO HAS BEEN GIVEN DOMINION OVER MUCH…  I WILL USE YOU TO TRANSLATE MY PLAN FOR MY PEOPLE INTO PRACTICAL ACTIONS. FEEDING THEM WITH MY WORD, TEACHING KINGDOM PRINCIPLES.  FOOD FOR THE COMING FAMINE. 

WHAT MATTERS MOST IS NOT THE EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUR LIFE, BUT WHAT YOUR RESPONSE TO THEM IS.  FOR I CAN TURN ANY SITUATION FOR GOOD IF YOU WILL BUT TRUST IN ME , ALLOW ME TO DO THE WORK IN YOU,  AND WAIT JOYFULLY FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED.  YOUR FAITHFULNESS TO ME WILL CAUSE A HEALING OF THE ANGUISH OF YOUR PAST HURTS AND A FRUITFULNESS IN THE LAND I HAVE PREPARED FOR YOU.!!  YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE FORGIVENESS AND THE SHOWERING OF MY GOODNESS THROUGH OBEDIENCE.

JESUS... THE COAT OF

MANY COLORS

 FOR ALL NATIONS  My late husband and myself had this print and we had it on the wall in our office ...  I love it and I bought Bart a many colored sweater that he wore all the time .. and we called it his coat of many colors sweater!  I then gave it to my second late husband and his name really was Joseph!!  He loved it too .. There was a man in our congregation who had always loved the print above with Jesus in His coat of many colors with all the nations flags ... I knew the print was to go to this faithful servant in our church ...
Father ... please place the anointing of your coat of many colors upon those who don't know who they are .. those who do not know they are favored ... bless them and please let them know that you can bring them from prison to palace if they will but trust and serve you.  Amen

LORD OF THE BREAKTHROUGH

LORD OF THE BREAKTHROUGH BAAL PERAZIM! 4/1/11

Hi Everyone.. How many of you need a breakthrough??!! I know for sure Joe and I do. There have been some changes going on here in our hearts and home. We are taking the kingdom by force. We have not had the energy or desire to do many things, except daily tasks and to work on the new projects we have been feeling led to do.. ..and in many ways we were feeling "hope against hope" in this economy and in other areas... and God has given us a BREAKTHROUGH to press through. Thank you all our friends who have been so wonderful and caring and loving to pray for us and to intercede. We know there is NO WAY we would have the strength without you, and cannot thank you enough. What ever would we do without each other?? 

Business has been so slow, and in many ways we are feeling like we are at the edge of the Red Sea with Pharoah coming after us again, but we know we serve a God who has proven over and over in our lives that He parts the Sea for us, most of the time lately not even in the eleventh hour, but even after.. but what we are realizing more and more is that if the body has not learned to love God in abounding and abasing, now is the time  In the midst of this it has caused us to come together and "fight the good fight of faith". God has good things for us and our place is to not lose faith and to always behold Him as being a Good Father who has our best interest in His heart. We must not walk as my friend says in a mistaken identity of who and what He is during stressful times. On top of this word, we have received two other prophetic words from people we have not heard from in a while, and so we know God is up to something good on our behalf.
 
I can feel a difference and I think we are beginning to take dominion over some things. We have some new energy too and hope that we did not have before.. even though financially we have not seen the breakthrough.. we are beginning to see it in other areas. We are doing what we can do and leaving the rest to God. We have been trying to clean out the areas in our home which have been taken over with our business.. which seems to be every nook and cranny.. Every time we try to work on this project, it overwhelms us totally. But, the God of Breakthrough has come and Joe has been working diligently to clear out space so we can do this. He is making great strides and even in a short time. Thank you Lord for my husband who perseveres even in difficult times. Thank you for his servant's heart and for loving me. I have been trying to get the energy to put some things for our business online, and I am finding the strength to do some of the work too, of which I am so grateful. I know his singleness of purpose in getting this job accomplished is giving me new backbone to help him in this battle of the garage!! He is a good man and I thank God for him.

We have been watching the Rodney Howard Browne Revival on TV and it has inspired us... We want to have our home ready to have some people over and to share the gospel and to fellowship. It is too crowded with our office in the house. So this project is necessary. When I moved here I moved out of a house that was twice the size and so our garage is full of 1/2 of my old house so it is quite a huge undertaking. So many memories to find homes for, and my youngest son came and put in flooring upstairs for storage and helped clean out a bunch of stuff, a while back..but there is myriads more to deal with!!! We have so many areas to our business that it will take up a large space, but we are determined to get this project done with God's help!! Business is so slow, and we feel we are to do everything we can for success.

I don't think it is by chance that we are being impressed to do this cleaning project at this time. This is the Lenten Season.. and the Passover Season.. a time to examine in our heart that which is good or bad.. to get the leaven out .. for a little leaven spoils the whole loaf as the word says.. During the Passover .. each home is to be carefully searched out for any leaven even little crumbs and they are to be gotten rid of. And just before the Passover, the man of the house searches the home for any crumbs left over and removes them. It is a time of self examination to also remove any leaven in our own hearts that will interfere with our relationship with God... in the natural and in the spirit. So, we are trying to prepare ourselves and our home in anticipation of some "New Things" that God will do. We need to keep each other in prayer for “Breakthrough” for the Lord of the Breakthrough to come in like a flood, and for us to get the leaven out and truly cleanse ourselves and homes and hearts so that the Passover Lamb can truly enter in and be Lord of our lives. I want to be changed, I don’t want to be the same old same old, I want a zest for life and I need to be renewed.

I know that the word says that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.. they shall rise up with wings as eagles . they shall walk and not faint.. It is easy to faint in these days and times. God showed me something in this verse however, a long time ago, that I have found to be true.. that there are two ways of WAITING.. as we WAIT patiently upon the Lord to move in an instance.. if we will but WAIT (serve) HIM.. God will renew us. So, that is what we are feeling led to do.. To "serve" our Lord Jesus in ways He is leading us.

This will be different for each one of us. We are all called to serve in different ways. Some may visit the sick in hospitals, some may have kind words for those they come in to contact with during their day, others may feed the hungry or babysit for a mother who needs a break... our greatest joy in serving is of course to sit at His feet and have fellowship with Him.. and out of that love relationship, He will tell us how to please Him in serving. I was thinking of all this and I was laying down to sleep and this is what happened.

What I am about to tell you is unusual for me.. I was going to sleep the other night and I heard the words "Pray to the God of the Breakthrough". I was like .. huh??? I never heard of that. I know there are names given to God such as Jehovah Jireh .. our Provider, and many others, but this is new to me.. But, I knew it was God. So, I got up and looked up online God of the Breakthrough and this is what I found:

Lord of the Breakthrough Baal Perazim

So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim. —1 Chronicles 14:11

Baal-perazim literally means, "Lord of the breakthrough." Because David sought God's direction first (v. 10), he knew it was God's victory. David acknowledged God as the One who brought about his victory. He said, "I couldn't have done it if God had not gone before me."

There will be many battles to fight this year, but realize that you are not standing alone. The God you serve is the Master of the breakthrough, and the battle is not yours, but His. When you seek God first in the matter, you can be assured of the victory.

The battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). So, never defend yourself. Let Him be your strong tower, your defense, and your refuge. Why are you trying to fight battles He has already won? Put on His armor and go forth in His Spirit, not your own might and power (Zechariah 4:6).

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Every time you resist temptation, you will see the devil flee from you this year. I believe the greatest temptation we will be dealing with is to not trust God .. so we must determine in our hearts that we will be a grateful people.  We will thank Him for every little crumb, we will let Abba Father know we appreciate Him. We don't want to be sinful unappreciative people.. So let's give God the glory!

Lord, grant me the boldness to resist temptation
at every turn. I know You have given me victory
over the devil. So I praise Your name for
defeating the devil on the cross and
giving me the power through Your
blood to breakthrough sin and
live victoriously. Amen.

This is my prayer for all of you.. It is one I received tonight for a friend.. but I believe it is for many today..

Whatever it is that is your greatest need, I ask that you would come to your children's aid. I speak the word over them that you gave me yesterday... you said very simply in my heart..

"Donna, pray to the Lord of the Breakthrough"...

I pray the Lord of the Breakthrough, Baal Perazim.. our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ will come and breakthough all the areas in your life that are hindering. I pray for BREAKTHROUGH in every area that concerns you. I pray the lord of the breakthrough would break through enemy lines and push back the forces that have kept you back from walking in victory. I pray a breaker anointing upon you.. that everywhere you will go, you will walk in authority and that the love of God in you, will infiltrate and break every stronghold. That your enemies be scattered. I pray the Jewish prayer.. nothing missing, nothing broken in your life.. I pray every broken and wounded place be healed in Jesus name .. in your body, mind and spirit.. In Jesus Name Amen! You are loved in heaven and on earth.
